Walmart to Remove Displays for Shooting Video Games and Movies
Following the tragedy of the El Paso Shooting at a Walmart, employees of the company have been told to remove all displays of any video games and movies that involve shooting. The shooting resulted in the deaths of 22 people and injured 27 people. This reaction may also be a results of Donald Trump and news outlets blaming the violent video games are the cause of the surge in shootings. Violent video games have been proven countless times are not the cause of shootings or violence but the recent trends have forced Walmart to react.

According to an interview with Polygon, this is not to be a long time change but out of “respect for the incidents of the past week, and it does not reflect a long-term change in our video game assortment.”
Despite this, Walmart is still selling guns in their stores. Many people on social media are calling the company hypocrites as they are still promoting weapons that have a direct impact on murder. Some people are telling people to boycott Walmart and use the hashtags #walmartshooting,” “#boycottwalmart,” and “#guncontrolnow.” On Wednesday, CEO of Walmart, Doug McMillon, indicated that the company was considering reevaluating its role as a retailer of firearms.

Time for Your Pokemon to Get a Job
It’s finally happening. Your Pokemon are moving out of your Pokeballs and going to start working in the real world. In the latest Pokemon Sword and Shield news, a new feature called Poke Jobs will appear.
In the Galar region, it is common for Pokemon and Humans to work side-by-side. Corporations and even universities will request Pokemon for help. There are a variety of different jobs with different request.

But what do your Pokemon earn as a reward? Definitely not Pokedollars as you earn those from beating up others. Instead your Pokemon will earn experience points, base stats improvements (Atk, Def, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, HP, or Speed) and get some rare items. It depends how long they are at work. Overtime is not an issue in the Pokemon job space.

Certain Pokemon are more suited for specific work. The more Pokemon you send out for a certain job, the better rewards they can earn.

You can access PokeJobs from the Rotomi. The Rotomi has replaced the PC at Pokemon Centers. It can be used for PC boxes and the lottery.
Now that your Pokemon can get a job, what about you?
Pokemon Sword and Shield release November 15, 2019 worldwide.
