Apex Legends Battle Pass Price

EA Respawn has revealed the price of the Battle Pass for Apex Legends. It will be called Wild Frontier and it will cost 950 Apex Coins ($9.50 USD). It will release on March 19th, 2019.

How does it work?

The more you play, the more you get. As you continue to level up your Battle Pass by playing games, you’ll unlock more content. XP gain will be included for your profile and Battle Pass.

What does the Battle Pass include?

It will include the new DLC character Octane and a variety of skins, banners, poses once they are released. You’ll also receive gun skins. If you max the pass, you earn a rare skin for the Havoc energy rifle, the game’s first post-launch weapon.

Even if you don’t buy the pass right away, you’ll still earn experience towards the pass. If you decided to buy it, it will count the XP you would have earned if you had purchased it Day 1. So don’t worry if you’re short on change or change your mind later. It will also include all the rewards.

If you want to jump ahead, you can purchase the Battle Pass Bundle which is 2800 Apex ($28) Coins and it will jump you 25 levels ahead.

Even if you decide not to purchase the pass you can still earn 1 Wild Frontier Legend Skin, 5 Apex Packs, and 18 Wild Frontier Stat Trackers.

Are you gonna purchase a battle pass?

Dragon Ball FighterZ next DLC fighter is Kid Goku from GT

Season 2 has already begun for Dragon Ball FighterZ. Videl and Gray Wall  Jiren were released early this year. Broly and Gogeta from Dragon Ball Super movie were revealed to be released late this year. Fans have been eagerly awaiting who comes next but unfortunately, they are getting Kid Goku from Dragon Ball GT. GT has mixed fan views and Goku regressing into a child was highly disliked by fans.

This Goku will play much differently according to the scans. He will be a “tricky” character. He has the Power Pole from Dragon Ball and can use a reverse Kamehameha which can propel him. His Super is the “Super Kamehameha” special attack makes him go Super Saiyan 3 when there are two or less members remaining in the party.

His Level 3 Meteor Attack is “Super Ultra Spirit Bomb” as his Meteor Attack, which is exceptionally slow but it makes Goku invulnerable to attacks during the launch motion, and he can move about before the giant Spirit Bomb hits the opponent. According to the scans, he will also have another special Meteor Attack that will be revealed later. Hopefully, it will be Super Saiyan 4 which is the coolest part of GT.

Steam announces Game Streaming Services

Steam has announced their own game streaming service today. The service is currently in prototype for Android, Raspberry Pi, and Steam Link devices. It will allow you to stream your games from any device as long as you have a strong internet connection rather than Steam Link which was only for home networks.

With Steam being the biggest distributor for PC gaming, it has a strong advantage against Epic, Discord and potentially Google’s streaming service. More announcements on the service will be announced at GDC next week.

Google teases Gaming product for GDC

Google teases new video game controller for GDC.

Google has been spending money behind the scenes for gaming for a few years. They will be having a panel at GDC (Games Developer Conference) on March 19th at 9am. Many people have speculated that Google will release a gaming console but only a trailer has been officially released. While the trailer doesn’t show much, more patents have been revealed.

A controller patent was found a few days ago. While it showcased a basic controller scheme, the interesting part is that it’s designed to work with several devices; including PC, television screens, tablets, and mobile phones. Chromium, Google’s Chrome internal team, has recently been working on enabling Nintendo Switch controller functionality on their browser.

A unique feature is that the controller will receive notifications from different cloud-based games. It will also act as a storage key as it will store your portfolio, game info, and save data on the controller rather than a console or PC.

People are speculating that Google will not release a console but rather a subscription service to allow players to play video games on any compatible device. This is similar to their partnership with Ubisoft where they offered Assassin’s Creed Odyssey for free on their online service. It is also similar to their current business practices for Google Suite and YouTube Red.

More definitive announcements will be shown at GDC.
