Pokemon Sword and Shield WILL NOT feature 18 Gyms

Game Informer previously reported that Pokemon Sword and Shield would feature 18 Pokemon gyms to challenge on October 1st: 9 Major and 9 minor gyms. Fans were extremely excited as it would defeat Pokemon Gold and Silver in overall amount of gyms to challenge (it featured 16).

Unfortunately, it seems Game Informer mistranslated communications with Game Freak. What Game Freak meant was that there are 18 across the league in Pokemon Sword and Shield. There are just 8 gyms as usual but each have version exclusive gyms.

This comes as a huge disappointment from fans but hopefully the other features in the game will remove their fears.

Pokemon Sword and Shield releases worldwide November 15th, 2019.

The Last of Us Part 2 will have no Multiplayer Mode

Naugthy Dog announced that The Last of Us Part 2 will not feature multiplayer. Although the previous title had it, the developers wanted to focus more on the single player narrative for Ellie. You can see their official statement below.

While this may be disappointing to fans who enjoyed the multiplayer, single player games are having a huge resurgence in popularity; especially PlayStation exclusive games. While some people complained the multiplayer exclusion was Naught Dog being lazy, some people also complained the 1st games multiplayer felt tacked on.

There will be some multiplayer in the future, it just won’t be for the game. Perhaps a cheaper multiplayer Faction mode in late 2020?

The Last of Us Part 2 comes out Feb. 21, 2020.

The Last of Us Part 2 release Feb. 21, 2020

The Last of Us Part 2 finally has a release date. The new trailer showed Ellie with a group of survivors and losing a loved one. This drives Ellie in a quest for revenge against an organized group.

Clickers, humans, and dogs are the enemy in the game. But most importantly, Joel is showcased in the trailer. Many fans speculated whether the character died in between games due to lack of the character’s appearance in trailers.
