If you’ve been playing games all years, it’s fun to see what you sunk your time in. As 2018 comes to a close, Xbox and PlayStation are offering users the ability to see all the stats attached to their consoles accounts. This includes most time played, how many achievements/trophies you earned, and your favorite games. PlayStation’s focuses on the past 5 years in regards to the PS4’s lifecycle while Xbox is just 2018.
If you haven’t purchased an NES or SNES classic, you better hurry as Nintendo has announced they will stop production after this holiday season. Hollywood Reporter interviewed Reggie Fils-Aime regarding the Classics.
“We’ve said that the current systems are the extent of our classic program,” Fils-Aime said. “We’ve also been clear that, at least from an Americas perspective, these products are going to be available through the holiday season and once they sell out, they’re gone. And that’s it.”
Nintendo will now focus on the Nintendo Switch Online Subscriber system. People who purchased the online membership have access to classic NES games. Hopefully, they will start to greatly expand the list from NES to their other past games.
There are no plans for an N64 classic according to Fils-Aime in November. I recommend buying the classic if you are remotely interested. People will start buying them and resale them for higher prices.
Red Dead Redemption 2’s multiplayer beta is being released November 27th called Red Dead Online. If you want to play the demo, it will depend on your purchase of Red Dead Redemption 2.
According to Rockstar, it will be “an evolution of the classic multiplayer experience from the original Red Dead Redemption.” It can be played solo or with friends. You can also form a posse up to 8 players.
